Mission Statement

To organize and conduct our Nation's largest Memorial Day parade.

To obtain and provide durable medical supplies for needy Disabled Veterans.
They pay "the price of freedom" every day. We should do more than just show the flag.

To create opportunities and enhance educational awareness for our school children.
Education is the mark of a free society and its greatest weapon of defense.

To restore and maintain settings around war monuments and memorials.
Respect for these symbols promotes respect for community and self.

Parade Established 1927 by Little Neck-Douglaston American Legion Post #103.
A non-profit Corporation, Organized under Sec 501 (c) ( 3) of the IRS Code.
